6h agoSeconds after 911 calls were made about an erratic driver, Toms River police say they received word of a serious car crash on Thursday.
The crash occurred at the intersection of Route 70 and Massachusetts Avenue in Toms River. One of the cars flipped over and caught on fire, police say, and multiple police, fire, and EMS were on the scene of the crash. Multiple injuries were reported.
This has been a problematic intersection. There were reports of a serious crash in the area earlier this month that shut down lanes. And back in October, a pedestrian was killed in a hit and run in the same area.
