Several people have been displaced from their homes following an overnight fire in Jersey City.
The fire occurred in the upstairs of a home on Bostwick Avenue.
Fire officials say there were two occupants inside, and they both made it out of the home safely. One of the occupants told News 12 he woke up and smelled smoke, and ran out of the house with his roommate.
Officials say the smoke alarms in the home were working properly.
No injuries were reported.
