Stormy weather on Friday and high tides left many Jersey Shore communities with extreme flooding.
This has meant that some people in towns like Asbury Park are trying to recover from flooding that impacted local businesses.
“We did have to put in about $1,000 into equipment to dry up the store. But you know, that’s OK, because if we get to open back up, we’ll make all that money back,” says Chantz Wheeler, of Ghost Town. “The important thing is that we’re still here and it could’ve been a lot worse.
The businesses say that they are hoping to welcome customers back into their establishments very soon.
