More than 1,200 undergraduate students got their diplomas from Seton Hall University on Tuesday during a ceremony at the Prudential Center.
This year’s commencement speaker was sports broadcaster Gary Cohen – a familiar face and voice for New York Mets and Seton Hall basketball fans.
"The lives you are about to be living will not always be easy. Every one of you will fail at some point in your adult lives. You have to not be afraid of that failure because without failure there is no success,” Cohen said.
Other speakers included class valedictorian Oliva McCue. She will be moving to Washington D.C. after graduation to work as a nurse at George Washington University Hospital.
