(10/30/06) BRICK ? A research group has named Brick the safest city in America, much to the delight of residents.
News of the findings, published by Morgan Quinto, was met with a sense of satisfaction among residents. Both police officers and members of the community say a sense of togetherness is largely responsible for Brick?s safe streets. According to residents, everyone works together to make sure the community remains relatively crime free.
The dubious honor of America?s most-dangerous city, according to Morgan Quinto, went to St. Louis. That distinction has typically gone to the New Jersey city of Camden during the past two years.
