The weather was simply marvelous today. Sunny skies and comfortably warm. The weather gets warmer on Tuesday. Expect most of the state to bask in sun and clouds, and afternoon highs climbing to the low 80s.

The wind will pick up again tomorrow. This will create another "headache” for allergy sufferers. Maple continues to be the predominant tree allergen for this spring bloom so far. Birch and oak are not far behind. Allergy meds will be our best friend for the next couple of weeks.

The weather is nice overall and on the warmer side of the season. Normal daytime highs are around 67. This week will average in the low to mid-70s.

We need rain. April has only seen 2.39 inches of rain so far. The normal amount for this point of the month should be 3.47 inches.

There is a chance of rain on Tuesday night. A weak system drifts some clouds and possibly quick showers through the region.

However, the better chance for rain right now is Friday night into Saturday afternoon. Otherwise, it will be sunny and on the milder side this week.
