Sen. Cory Booker will receive an honorary degree at Temple University.
The university also announced the U.S. Senator is delivering the commencement speech to the 2018 graduating class next month.
This won't be Booker's first appearance at Temple.
The university says he spoke there at the 2014 memorial service for his late friend and trustee Lewis Katz.
