Secaucus police bust alleged cocaine operation, seize loaded stolen handgun

A year-long investigation by the Secaucus Police Department led to the arrest of 35-year-old Anmol Singh of Secaucus, who police say was operating a cocaine distribution ring out of his 3rd Street home and another residence in Garfield.
On July 16, detectives allegedly observed Singh completing a drug transaction with Danielle Josephs on North End Drive before arresting her on cocaine and Xanax possession charges. Shortly afterward, officers stopped a vehicle driven by Amir Abi-Rafeh, with Singh and Olivia Tworek as passengers. Police said Singh was carrying Xanax and Tworek was carrying cocaine.
After a K-9 alerted to the vehicle, detectives recovered a loaded stolen 9mm handgun, high-capacity magazines, ammunition, approximately 50 grams of cocaine, ketamine, Xanax, oxycodone, morphine, LSD, psilocybin mushrooms, and nearly $2,000 in suspected drug proceeds. Search warrants executed at the Secaucus and Garfield homes uncovered additional evidence, including more cocaine.
Singh faces numerous drug distribution and weapons charges, including possession of a stolen handgun and possession of a firearm during a drug offense. Abi-Rafeh, 29, of West New York, was charged with conspiracy to distribute cocaine, and both men were brought to the Hudson County Jail.
Tworek, 27, of Garfield, was charged with drug possession. Josephs, 44, of Hasbrouck Heights, was charged with two counts of drug possession and was also found to have outstanding warrants. Both women were released pending court appearances.
