Weehawken Police are asking for the public’s help in locating 20-year-old Emilio Acosta, who was last seen in Dec. 18 by his family after he left their home after midnight.

His family believes Acosta may have been experiencing a mental health crisis and are concerned about his health and well-being, they said in an interview with WNBC.

Acosta was last seen on surveillance video from a Shell gas station in Secaucus around 1:30 a.m. on Dec. 18. He was walking westbound on Route 3 toward MetLife Stadium, police said.

He was wearing a cream-colored New York Yankees sweatshirt, an Adidas ski jacket, gray sweatpants and black Timberland boots.

He is described as 6 feet 1 inch tall, 190 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Weehawken Police Department.
