Schumer dodges questions about Menendez bribery indictment

U.S. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer dodged some questions about Sen. Bob Menendez and his bribery indictment.

The Democratic senator from New York was asked if he is comfortable with Menendez still serving on committees and attending classified briefings amid the allegations.

"The Senate has standards, we should all be living up to those standards. Sen. Menendez has not. I am deeply disappointed in him.,” Schumer said.

Menendez was hit with more than a dozen new charges on Monday, including conspiracy and obstruction of justice. He says the new charges against him are an abuse of power by the federal government.
