Rider University has removed Chick-Fil-A as a campus option due to the perception the restaurant is opposed to the LGBTQ community.
The university sent a survey to students a few weeks ago to see which restaurant franchise they would like to see on campus.
The school removed Chick-Fil-A as one of the options.
According to the university, its decision was based on that perception.
