The forecast goes “Back to the Future.” After two pristine days, the weather pattern dips back to where we have been most of 2024 - overcast with showers.
The weather is a mere nuisance. The rain we get will not be overly soaking. From Wednesday through Friday, the area will collect probably just under a half inch of rain. What makes the forecast so disappointing is the endless cycle of clouds and raw winds off the ocean. Ocean temperatures are still in the upper-40s, so that's what we are stuck with until the winds of change sweep through for the weekend.
TONIGHT: Cloudy with showers. Low dip to the low-40s.
THURSDAY: Early showers taper, but overcast skies remain. Daytime highs around 50 degrees. (Normal for this time of year is 64.)
FRIDAY: Still cloudy with possible drizzly moments. Highs in the mid-50s.
WEEKEND: Dry with moments of sunshine. Warmer temperatures in the mid-60s.
