While the SantaCon bar crawl has officially returned to Hoboken, many restrictions were put in place as COVID-19 cases are increasing in the state.

The city took preventative measures ahead of Saturday's event by increasing police patrols on the street and issuing an executive order requiring all participating bars check the vaccination status of their patrons.

For the bars participating in SantaCon events, anyone found not adhering to the proof of vaccination mandate could face legal consequences.
