(AP) - Ex-Penn State football coach JerrySandusky has posted $250,000 bail after spending a night in jailfollowing new child sex abuse charges filed against him.
Court records Thursday morning show Sandusky posted bail using$200,000 in real estate holdings and a $50,000 certified checkprovided by wife Dorothy. It was not immediately clear whether hehad been released.
Under the terms of his release, Sandusky will be confined to hishome, subject to electronic monitoring and forbidden from havingany contact with any witnesses or victims in the attorney generalinvestigation.
Sandusky was jailed Wednesday on 12 new charges of child sexabuse after a grand jury report released details of testimony fromtwo new alleged victims.
Sandusky was charged last month with sexually abusing 8 otherboys over a 15-year span. He maintains his innocence.
