The execution of Saddam Hussein is stirring up mixed emotions from members of the Muslim community in Paterson.
Many members of the Muslim community are keeping watchful eyes on the news coming out of Iraq. However, most are very wary when speaking about the issue. The few that spoke with News 12 New Jersey say if Hussein is guilty of the crimes he is charged with, then he deserves execution.
Some Muslims feel Hussein?s execution is not going to spark violence in the United States. However, they feel any violence that does occur after Hussein?s execution will occur in the Middle East.
