RWJBarnabas Health hosted its sixth annual Running with the Devils 5K Run/Walk Sunday morning in West Orange to promote good health.

The event is co-sponsored by the New Jersey Devils. Stanley Cup winning team alum Bruce Driver came to show support.

The mission of the event is to help communities by supporting the health system's programs that tackle poverty, nutrition, and job training. It also encourages people to get out and exercise.

"We are trying to stop people from being sick, and if we get that done, I'd be a very happy person, I think most people would be too," said RWJBarnabas Health CEO Barry Ostrowski.  

The Running with the Devils Run/Walk has raised nearly $1 million to support community programs over the past six years.
