Rutgers University announced Wednesday the reinstatement of the “Students for Justice in Palestine” group.

The organization was suspended back in December after multiple complaints of disruptions to classes, meal periods and students studying.

"Rutgers, that prides itself on its diversity could have supported Palestinian students suffering during this time,” the organization said in a statement. “Instead, our university has chosen to suppress our voices, our experiences and demands."

While the suspension is lifted, Students for Justice in Palestine are on probation until December 2024.
