Runners raced through Asbury Park on a snowy Saturday to raise money for a local soup kitchen.
Donations from the 5K Asbury Park Santa Run went to a local charity called Lunch Break.
Organizers say about 1,500 people signed up and there was no decline in turnout despite the weather.
The annual SantaCon pub crawl was also expected to take place Saturday evening.
The event was started in 2012 and helps raise money for local businesses affected by Superstorm Sandy.
