Ringwood residents have pitched in to help a new neighbor recover from a vandalism and fire sparked by racism.
Felix Jimenez says he recently found his home spray painted with racial slurs and two weeks later, someone set part of it ablaze. Many of Jimenez?s neighbors say they are appalled by the behavior and will not tolerate it. They have donated more than $2,000 for repairs and skilled landscapers, electricians and builders are working to restore the house. Jimenez says he?s overwhelmed by the outpouring of support.
Police do not have any suspects in custody.
