ATLANTIC COUNTY
Residents of Atlantic County can find food resources through various local and statewide pantries that service the area.
The Housing and Community Development Network of New Jersey has a list of local resources that residents in need can reach out to here.
BERGEN COUNTY
Bergen County Food Drives
The Bergen County Office of Food Security is working with municipal and nonprofit partners to organize food drives and support local food pantries in towns across the county.
Residents in need of food assistance can find a pantry near them here, and those looking to volunteer their time or make donations can visit BergenFightsHunger.org.
The Office of Food Security will be partnering with the Community FoodBank of New Jersey to hold a food distribution event for Bergen County residents and federal employees impacted by the delay in SNAP benefits on Thursday, Nov. 6. Valid SNAP cards, federal ID and proof of Bergen County residency will be required.
City of Hackensack
The City of Hackensack launched an emergency food drive to support its residents. The city is asking for shelf-stable food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, baby formula and other non-perishable items, which will then be shared with local food pantries within the city.
Donations will be accepted at:
Hackensack City Hall at 65 Central Ave., Hackensack
The Recreation Center at 116 Holt St., Hackensack
All city fire stations
The city will also hold a free boxed-lunch giveaway on Thursday, Nov. 6, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Recreation Center, Carver Park at 302 2nd St., and the Civic Center at 65 Central Ave.

Burlington County is largely serviced by the Food Bank of South Jersey, which works with more than 300 partners across Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Salem counties.

CAPE MAY
The County of Cape May has a countywide list of food pantries that you can find on their website.
Cape May Community Food Closet
The Cape May Community Food Closet holds food distributions and offers a limited delivery service for those in need.

CUMBERLAND COUNTY
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey and the Salvation Army of New Jersey are the two largest food resource servicers of Cumberland County.

ESSEX COUNTY
East Orange Food Distribution and Food Voucher Program
The City of East Orange has organized a food voucher program to help families losing their SNAP benefits. The food voucher program will be paid for with city funds and will enable SNAP users to buy food at the grocery store as normal, according to Mayor Ted Green.
The program will only be available to SNAP recipients.
The city will also be holding a food distribution on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at South Clinton Street and Elmwood Avenue, where 700 boxes of food will be available to SNAP recipients only.

HUDSON COUNTY
City of Hoboken
Any Hoboken resident in need of assistance can contact the City's Social Worker, Bianca Hoffer, who can help connect individuals with local resources and navigate benefit updates. She can be reached by email at bhoffer@hobokennj.gov or by phone at 201-420-2000, Ext. 1083.
The Hoboken Community Center's food pantry, at 1301 Washington St., will host two of its monthly food distributions.
The first will be on Friday, Nov. 7, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the following locations:

Multi Service Center, 124 Grand St., side entrance on 13th Street
Hoboken Housing Authority, 221 Jackson St.

The HCC food pantry provides free groceries and household items to Hoboken residents in need, no questions asked. The pantry is seeking donations of shelf-stable foods. Beginning on Monday, Nov. 3, and continuing through Wednesday, Dec. 31, donations for the food pantry at the Hoboken Community Center may be made at Hoboken City Hall, 94 Washington St. between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Items such as dried pasta, instant oatmeal, canned tuna and canned chicken are especially appreciated. Community members can also donate full sized tubes of toothpaste and bars of soap, as well as clean and dry Tupperware or takeout containers.

St. Matthew's Lunchtime Ministry at 731 Washington St. provides a hot meal Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Hoboken Shelter at 300 Bloomfield St., is open for meals from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, for those experiencing homelessness and low-income guests, no questions asked.

HUNTERDON COUNTY
Hunterdon County has a list of food pantries available to all residents in need that you can find on their website.
Flemington Area Food Pantry
The Flemington Area Food Pantry provides nutritious foods and essentials to local residents in need.
If you are in need of assistance, you can place an order through their website, visit the pantry in person at 154 Route 31 in Flemington, or call the panty at 908-788-5568.

MERCER COUNTY
Mercer Street Friends
Nearly 40,000 Mercer County residents are at risk of losing their SNAP benefits, according to Mercer Street Friends, a Trenton-based nonprofit that provides food for those who are food insecure, in addition to other services.
The organization is preparing to help people in need, and is asking for donations or volunteers to help support their mission. If interested, you can find more information on their website.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY
Middlesex County offers a resource tool called the REPLENISH Directory that will direct people in need of emergency food assistance to an agency in their area. The directory can be found here.
The county website also offers a Healthy Food Access Map to direct you to local food pantries, farmers markets, grocery stores and participants of SNAP and WIC, as well as publica transportation to take you there and back. There is a map in English here, and a map in Spanish here.
MONMOUTH COUNTY
The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners will host a Countywide Food Drive to support local food banks and residents.
Members of the public who would like to donate can drop off non-perishable donations at the Monmouth County Library Headquarters Branch at 125 Symmes Drive in Manalapan or the Eastern Branch at 1001 Route 35 in Shrewsbury.

PASSAIC COUNTY
The Passaic County Board of Commissioners will provide emergency assistance to residents currently enrolled in SNAP.
There will be two opportunities to pick up food packages:
Monday, Nov. 3 at 11 a.m. at Calvary Baptist Community Center, located at 575 E. 18th St. in Paterson.
Wednesday, Nov. 5 at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church, located at 163 Autumn St. in Passaic.
Residents seeking assistance should bring their EBT card and a valid photo ID to verify eligibility.

The Food Bank Network of Somerset County
The Food Bank Network distributes food and other basic needs around the county and will air any resident requesting help. The network has a number of different pantry locations you can find on their website here, where you can also find ways to donate or volunteer.
SUSSEX COUNTY
Sussex County provides residents a list of food pantries and other resources available to those in need on their website, which can be found here.
UNION COUNTY
Union County Food Drive
Union County will be holding a countywide food drive, "Stock the Shelves," to support residents experiencing hardship as a result of the federal shutdown. The County Board of Commissioners says the goal is to help restock community food pantries and assist families and seniors in need.
Beginning Monday, Nov. 3, residents are encouraged to donate non-perishable food and essential household items at designated drop-off sites across Union County.
The initial drop-off sites are:
The Union County Prosecutor's Office at 32 Rahway Ave., Elizabeth
The Union County Public Safety Building at 400 N. Avenue E., Westfield
The Union County Department of Public Works & Engineering at 2371 South Avenue, Scotch Plains

Acceptable foods include canned goods, dry goods and grains, pantry stables and snacks and other ready-to-eat items, as well as personal care and household items, and baby care essentials. You can find more information on the county’s website.
WARREN COUNTY

STATEWIDE
The CARE Center of New Jersey
Food demand has surged at the CARE Center of New Jersey's Food for HOPE pantry.
There are two Food for HOPE pantry locations, with a grocery style pantry located in Rockaway, and a mobile food pantry distribution in Montclair.
The pantry is asking for donations of essential grocery items. If interested in donated or volunteering, or for more information about Food for HOPE's two pantries, you can visit their website.
Community FoodBank of New Jersey
The Community FoodBank of New Jersey, a member of Feeding America, distributes food to more than 800 community partners, including food pantries, soup kitchens and child and senior feeding programs.
Through their website, you can search with your zip code to find CFBNJ partner food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters in Atlantic, Bergen, Cape May, Cumberland, Essex, Hudson, Middlesex, Morris, Passaic, Somerset or Union County.
You can also donate on their website, or register to volunteer at their warehouses in either Hillside or Egg Harbor Township.
Table to Table
Table to Table is the state's first and largest food rescue nonprofit, servicing Bergen, Essex, Hudson, Morris and Passaic counties.
The organization "rescues" food from over 300 fresh food donor partners, including supermarkets, food distributors, restaurants, and commercial kitchens and delivers it the same day to more than 300 community organizations.
You can volunteer through the Table to Table I-Rescue App, which allows volunteers to help rescue and deliver fresh, nutritious food to neighbors facing food insecurity.

The Salvation Army
The Salvation Army provides meals across New Jersey through food pantries, soup kitchens, and mobile canteens, providing over 6 million meals across the state last year alone.
