Garden State residents and visitors were out early Memorial Day to get the best spots on the beach at Seaside Park.

Many say early morning hours at the Jersey Shore are great times to surf and fish. Most people were out to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather this holiday. Some children even ventured out into the chilly waters.

Jersey Shore businesses say they were busy the whole holiday weekend. They expect to be packed throughout the summer months.
