Police are searching for a suspect in a string of home burglaries who has been using an unusual tactic to enter homes.
Officials say the suspect is pushing in window-mounted air conditioning units to gain entry.
The suspect has struck four times since June 11 and is usually in and out within 10 minutes, taking jewelry and small electronics, according to investigators.
Police are advising residents that have air conditioner units on the first floor to bolt them down to the window and to put a piece of wood between the window frame to prevent it from being opened. To watch an interview with Morris Township Police Chief John McGuinness, click on iO Extra on Channel 612.
