? Hundreds gathered in Freehold Monday to mourn teen car crash victims whose lives were cut entirely too short.
The funerals were held for the three Freehold High School students who died when their car crashed into a van last Wednesday. Mourners remembered the lives of 17-year-old Michael Dragonetti, 16-year-old Andrew Lundy and 17-year-old James Warnock. Services were held at St. Rose of Lima?s Church in Freehold for Dragonetti and Warnock. The services for Lundy were held at St. Peter?s Episcopal Church.
The funeral for the driver of the van, 68-year-old Ruth MacArthur, was also held Monday. Autopsy reports showed all four were killed instantly on impact. Police believe excessive speed played a part in the crash, but investigators haven?t determined an exact cause.
