Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to carve a path up the East Coast this week, but that didn't stop residents from coming out to Sea Bright Sunday.

People made their way to the beach to cool off before Isais is expected to bring rain to the area.
There are also scattered storms in the forecast for Sunday. Dark clouds could be seen in the beach area, but people still went in the water and watched the waves crash near the shore.

Some swimmers told News 12 that water definitely felt rougher than usual.

"Today it was a little more rough, it was pulling us,” one swimmer says. “We kept our eyes on the lifeguard and made sure we were close.”

Lifeguards put up yellow warning flags and advised swimmers to be extra cautious as there is still a chance of getting caught in a rip current.

Some people say they left the beach early after their swim to head to the store to stock up on supplies for the potential storm.
