The northern part of New Jersey was hit especially hard by the storm, leaving residents with a big mess to clean up Sunday. News 12 New Jersey weighed the Garden State?s damages from their Northwest Bureau on the campus of Farleigh Dickenson University. They say road crews were out in full force, trying to keep the highways clear for drivers and sidewalks open for pedestrians. The New Jersey Turnpike also posted speed restrictions due to the icy conditions during and after the storm. Residents say the big storms have created a pattern of falling on holidays ? with Valentine?s and St. Patrick?s days. They say they just hope they?re not stuck shoveling on Memorial Day.
