Walgreens is expected to close three of its stores across New Jersey in early March, according to a published report.
The closings come after the company announced back in 2019 that around 200 stores would be closing.
The stores scheduled to close are located at 800 Woodlane Rd. in Westampton, 1001 Berlin Rd. in Lindenwold and 360 Essex St. in Hackensack.
The location in Westampton is scheduled to close March 2, while Lindenwold’s location will close March 3 and Hackensack’s location will close March 9.
The company says customers' prescriptions and records will be transferred to the next closest Walgreens location.
According to a company spokesperson, the majority of employees affected by the closings will be placed in jobs at other stores in the area.
