Rep Jamaal Bowman was criticized on Tuesday for writing years-old blog posts touting 9/11 conspiracy theories.

The blog posts – deleted long ago -- were recently unearthed by the Daily Beast. The entries show Bowman shared political and personal poems and short essays on an online journal, relentless-strongback.blogspot.com through 2014.

Bowman said he regrets the posts he made since learning "how misinformation spreads."

“I will always stand up and fight against misinformation and harmful conspiracy theories,” he said in a statement to CNN.
