Despite the bitter blast of winter weather on Tuesday morning, DelPonte's Bakery in Bradley Beach remained a popular Christmas Eve destination.

The bakery, a town staple since 1999, offers a wide range of Italian pastries and freshly baked bread.

Customers braved the rain and snow to wait in line for hours, eager to try the bakery's famous treats.

Some customers pre-ordered their goods, while others came out to spread holiday cheer.

Regular customers shared their experiences. "It's awesome, it's delicious. I got biscotti, fresh bread, and pizza. I should have gotten here earlier, I got here at 6," said Jim. Therese added, "I was here at 7 o'clock for two loaves of Italian bread. We make garlic bread every year, it's a tradition. It has to be fresh. All the workers are so happy."

DelPonte's Bakery will be open until 3 p.m. on Christmas Day for those who missed the Christmas Eve rush.
