What would you do it you found a python in your kitchen? Some people in Jersey City found out.
The Liberty Humane Society rescued a python that got loose and ended up behind a refrigerator in someone’s 29th-floor Jersey City apartment.
The group believes it is someone’s pet that ended up escaping.
The snake has a new name — Banana. The snake is a “piebald ball python morph,” which the society says is harmless.
Anyone who might have any information about Banana is asked to give the Liberty Humane Society a call. The snake is on a week “stray hold” before it will be put up for adoption.
