Monmouth County prosecutors say a wife shot her husband before killing herself Thursday afternoon in Holmdel.

They say 42-year-old Asma Hussain shot and killed her husband, 52-year-old Arshad Zarak, at their home on Paddington Court.

She then turned the gun on herself, police say.

Officials say that when officers responded to the incident, they found the couple unresponsive in the master bedroom.

They say they are continuing to investigate.
