The Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office says a public school teacher from Woodbridge allegedly forged a doctor's note to get around the school mask policy, claiming medical exemption.
Gayle Hadley, 53, of Toms River, was arrested last Thursday and charged with fourth-degree uttering and falsifying medical records.

Authorities began to investigate the claim after school administrators raised some concern about her note.
Hadley is employed as a physical education teacher at Lynn Crest Elementary School.
