A mother and her 13-year-old daughter were discovered fatally shot Saturday in their Trenton home, according to the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities say it happened around 10:30 a.m. at the 300 block of West State Street.
Officers located the victims on the third floor of the house. Both were pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say no arrests have been made. However, a person of interest was detained for unrelated charges.
