A woman’s body was pulled from the Newark Bay Tuesday afternoon, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
The woman, who has not yet been identified, was found around 1:30 p.m. in the water near Stephen R. Gregg Park in Bayonne. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say the cause and manner of death are pending but added that there were no visible signs of trauma on the woman’s body.
