The Essex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating the shooting death of an 18-year-old in Irvington.
Authorities say that the shooting happened on the 1100 block of Clinton Avenue around 3 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim, identified as Marquise Jenkins of Irvington, died at University Hospital about a half-hour later.
No arrests have been made.
