Prosecutor’s office: Man fatally stabbed woman in her home with a knife; charged with murder

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a man from Washington Township has been charged with murder in the death of a woman.

The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a man from Washington Township has been charged with murder in the death of a woman.
Police received a 911 call Sunday around 12:05 a.m. reporting an incident at 41 Lexington Court.
The prosecutor’s office says Patrick Camilli is accused of fatally stabbing a woman in her home.
When police arrived, they found him on the floor on top of the victim, identified as Mary E. Huber, 51. She had suffered multiple stab wounds and bruises.
She was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Camilli was treated for self-inflicted stab wounds. He is in stable condition.
An investigation revealed Camilli murdered Huber with a knife.
He is in custody at Hackensack University Medical Center pending his first appearance in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.
He also faces weapons offenses.
