Prosecutor’s office: Man arrested in Jersey City stabbings that left 1 dead, another injured

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a man has been arrested in the stabbings Tuesday in Jersey City that left a man dead and a woman injured.

The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office has announced a man has been arrested in the stabbings Tuesday in Jersey City that left a man dead and a woman injured.
Joshua Gonzalez, age 24, of Hoboken, was arrested Thursday around 11:10 a.m. in the area of Franklin Street in Bloomfield.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office says Jersey City police officers responded Tuesday around 6:40 a.m. to reports of an attack on the 100 block of Clinton Avenue. It was there that they found a 22-year-old woman who was stabbed. She was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Police were then called around 10 a.m. to the 100 block of McAdoo Avenue for another report of a stabbing. Police found the body of 21-year-old Jason Khusial, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation revealed Khusial was initially injured during the Clinton Avenue attack.
Gonzalez is charged with murder and attempted murder, among other charges.
Following his arrest, Gonzalez was transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility in
Kearny pending his first appearance.
