The Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office has announced an additional arrest involving an unsanctioned Jersey Shore car rally in Wildwood that led to the deaths of two people.
According to the prosecutor’s office, Zion Diaz, 18, of Hammonton, told others at the Sept. 24 event to block intersections, do “burnouts” and block police and emergency vehicles from responding to emergency calls.
Diaz was arrested without incident Wednesday morning and charged with riot. He was processed and released on a summons pending court proceedings.
Meanwhile, police are trying to track down another suspect in the rally, saying he committed aggravated assault on an officer.

They're also interested in finding a black Honda Accord that was on the scene, as well as its driver. Police say they were involved in a crash with a golf cart.
They say the car has a distinct custom taillight package and should have damage on its front passenger side.
Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office at 609 465-1135 or the Wildwood Police Department at 609-522-0222.
