Prosecutor’s office: 22-year-old man sexually assaulted 2 underage girls over 2 days at NJ hotel

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has announced the filing of additional charges against a 22-year-old man who allegedly sexually assaulted two underage girls over two days last year at a hotel in Rockaway.

The Morris County Prosecutor’s Office has announced the filing of additional charges against a 22-year-old man who allegedly sexually assaulted two underage girls over two days last year at a hotel in Rockaway.
According to authorities, Nathaniel G. Yanez, 22, of Newark, has been charged with two counts of sexual assault and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
It’s alleged on May 30, 2021, Yanez sexually assaulted a 15-year-old victim at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rockaway. The following day, Yanez allegedly then sexually assaulted a 17-year-old victim in the same location.
Police charged Yanez for the additional acts on May 5.
Yanez remains detained at the Morris County Correctional Facility. He's scheduled to appear in court on July 11.
