Prosecutor: Police shoot at suspect attempting to run down officer
Officials say that Woodbridge police were called to Sansone Auto Mall around 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday for reports of a “suspicious incident.”

The Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating an officer-involved shooting at Sansone Auto Mall in Woodbridge.
Officials say that Woodbridge police were called to the dealership around 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday for reports of a “suspicious incident.”
Authorities say that when the officers arrived, one of the suspects tried to run them over. The officers shot at the suspect as the suspect drove away.
Officials say that the suspect was hit by a bullet and eventually showed up at a local hospital for treatment. It was at the hospital that the suspect allegedly admitted to the burglary, according to the prosecutor.
