A Pennsylvania man accused of fatally shooting a mother and daughter inside their Willingboro home is facing multiple charges.
The Burlington County Prosecutors Office says 37-year-old Junior Edwards allegedly killed Catherine and Marisol Nunez on Oct. 30.
Officers traveled to the residence on Harrington Circle early that morning for a call reporting a burglary in progress. Upon arrival, they discovered the mother and daughter dead in an upstairs bedroom.
The investigation revealed that the intruder entered by smashing a window on the first floor. Police say they also discovered a handgun they believe Edwards used outside of the home.
Prosecutors say he had an 8-year-old son with Catherine Nunez. The child was home at the time of the shooting but was uninjured.
The charges against Edwards include murder, home invasion, burglary armed with a firearm, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and endangering the welfare of a child.
