Prosecutor: 3 teens struck, 1 fatally, by hit-and-run driver in Paterson

Prosecutor: 3 teens struck, 1 fatally, by hit-and-run driver in Paterson
Three teenagers were struck by a hit-and-run driver in Paterson, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. One of those teenagers died from her injuries.
Authorities say a 17-year-old girl and two 16-year-old boys were struck by a car in the area of 17th Avenue and East 33rd Street in Paterson around 3 a.m. Wednesday.
Officials say all three were taken to St. Joseph’s University Medical Center in a private vehicle after the incident. The 17-year-old girl died from her injuries. One of the 16-year-olds suffered a broken foot. The third teen was not hurt.
A description of the vehicle that hit the teens was not provided.
