A second mass shooting in three days has left one person dead and five others wounded in Trenton.
Mercer County prosecutors said 18-year-old Unique Anderson of Trenton was killed just after 11:30 p.m. Monday. Prosecutors said three other Trenton residents - two men aged 19 and 22 and a 20-year-old woman - were also injured along with a 20-year-old man from Edgewater Park and an 18-year-old man from Hamilton.
Authorities say that the motive for this latest shooting is under investigation. But they say that there does not seem to be any indication that Monday’s shooting is related to Saturday's drive-by shooting about half a mile away.
Authorities said that in the May 25 shooting, at least two gunmen in a car opened fire on a crowd outside Ramoneros Liquor & Bar, wounding 10 people. Two of the victims were later reported in critical but stable condition.
No arrests have been reported in either attack.
