The Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Manchester Township.
The prosecutor says Manchester police were called to Ridgeway and Hope Chapel roads around 5 p.m. Thursday for reports of a shooting.
They found the victim with a gunshot wound to her stomach. She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
The victim’s name was not released.
