Prosecutor: 20-year-old man fatally shot in Irvington, suspect sought

A 20-year-old man was fatally shot in Irvington early Monday morning, according to the Essex County Proscutor’s Office.

Police officers were called to the 300 block of 21st Street just before 1:30 a.m. for reports of a shooting. They found a man with gunshot wounds standing near the entrance of the building.

Officials say this man was identified as Quashawn Moses, of East Orange. He was taken to University Hospital for treatment but died from his injuries.

No arrests have been made.
