A 19-year-old man and 14-year-old girl are facing charges related to the murder of a Cresskill woman.
The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office says that 51-year-old Divna Rosasco was reported missing just after midnight on Monday. Her car was found in the parking lot of Overpeck Park in Teaneck.
Police search dogs followed Rosasco’s scent to the water, where police found her body covered in a bed sheet with a plastic bag around her head. Authorities also say that the body was weighed down with cinder blocks, rope and duct tape.
Authorities say that they quickly found Nicolas Coirazza and the 14-year-old trying to get into an Uber. After questioning them, police say that they learned Coirazza was at the victim’s home visiting when he allegedly stabbed her to death. He then allegedly had the girl help him dispose of the body.
News 12 New Jersey went to Coriazza’s home in Lodi, but there was no answer at the door. Neighbors say that police had been at the house and that investigators pulled a freezer out of the home.
Coirazza is charged with murder, possession of a weapon, disturbing human remains, hindering apprehension and tampering with evidence.
