Prosecutor: 10-year-old killed in apparent drive-by shooting in Vineland

A 10-year-old girl was killed in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.

A 10-year-old girl was killed in what appears to be a drive-by shooting, according to the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities say that the shooting happened Sunday night on the 700 block of W. Earl Drive. The child was inside of a home at the time of the shooting. She was taken to Inspira Medical Center where she died.
The prosecutor says that authorities are working to determine who was the intended target of the shooting.
Police are asking anyone who lives near the area who may have security cameras on their homes to share footage with police that took place between 9:30 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. because it may contain evidence.
