Residents living in Brick Township may soon be getting wireless Internet service for free. Officials are mulling a proposal to bring wireless Internet access to the entire town. Currently, places like Atlanta Bread offer wireless service as a convenience to their customers who want to browse the web while they eat. As part of the plan, towers would be set up at strategic locations throughout town so all businesses could offer the service. Police Captain Doug Kinney thinks the plan is a good idea. Kinney says he would be able to get information to his officers much faster through the Internet or wireless communication.
