Private companies are helping the state come up with new methods of testing residents for coronavirus.
A drive-through center is being set up in Secaucus with the help of private companies.
Riverside Medical Group is trying to screen potential patients over the phone. If needed, patients will be directed to the drive-through.
Chief Executive Officer Iyad Baker says this method adds an extra layer of protection for health care workers.

"It prevents us from closing across the state and being able to be on the front line of COVID-19 as well as continue to take care of patients for all their other illnesses," says Baker.
Some hospitals in the state are setting up emergency room auxiliary locations.
The drive-through test in Secaucus is not free and goes through insurance. People without insurance can pay out of pocket, depending on what testing is needed.
