Princeton police say they are looking for a woman accused of robbing a bank Sunday in the middle of the afternoon.
Police say they responded to the TD Bank located at 883 State Road after the panic alarm activated. They say shortly after, a bank teller called 911 to report a robbery that happened around 2 p.m.
According to authorities, a woman approached the teller at the bank with a gun and handed a note demanding cash, warning the teller against sounding an alarm. Authorities say the woman then told two tellers to go into the bank vault to gather more money.
After the suspect got an undetermined amount of cash, authorities say the woman was last seen on video walking in the area around the Princeton Bottle King at 775 State Road 206.
The suspect is described as a Black female between 35-45 years old, seen wearing a medical mask, a white T-shirt, tan sweatpants, purple shoes, a blue baseball hat and red glasses.
Anyone with information about the incident or the suspect is urged to contact Det. Daniel Chitren at 609-921-2100, ext. 2154 or email dchitren@princeetonnj.gov.
