The Poughkeepsie City School District's superintendent has announced that he’s officially resigning.

Dr. Eric Jay Rosser says he will leave the role on June 30 to be the superintendent of Rochester’s City School District.

Rosser has been Poughkeepsie’s superintendent since 2019.

The school board says Gregory Mott will be stepping in as interim superintendent.
